Come all ye voters of America
Take warning how you cast your vote
The major parties both deceive you
They promise all, deliver naught

Republicans cry, "lower taxes"
But still increase the government's size
Usurp your freedoms with illegal laws
Trap liberty within their vise

The Democrats are not much different
Your wages take for programs to pay
The monies all go to their cronies
Not one red cent returns your way

The Reps and Dems both want big government
They steal your pay and freedoms both
Expecting you'll keep them in office
Expecting they can break their troth

The Reps and Dems all cry for spending cuts
Their budgets ne'er reflect that hue:
Whether for welfare, wars, or agencies
They spend and spend, while taxing you.

Yet if a burgular tries attacking you
Police protection's just a pretense
The cops look only for drug users
Or those who fight in self-defense

Given a chance, they'll take your children
Brainwash them all like the USSR
The public schools turn them against you,
Or DYFS kills them, or they're sent to war.

Should you fall ill, don't look to government
The FDA bars healthy drugs
Approving chemicals that kill you
Make Merck and Lilly look like thugs

And should you love of your same gender
Or maybe polyamorous be
The laws insist you be forsaken
A "marriage bed" is all they can see

If you should wish to keep your wages
And bar "the law" from your bedroom door
Consider not the Demopublicans
Another choice might please you more

If you respect the Constitution
And wish its tenets be upheld
Election day come this November
Cast your vote Libertarian!
